The Policy Innovation Toolkit is a collection of easy-to-use planning tools and processes for collaborative advocacy work. These cover holding focused, efficient, decisional meetings with stakeholders and/or partners; understanding the problem area; mapping the current state of affairs regarding your policy objective; understanding and appealing to your key stakeholders; monitoring and evaluating your progress in a way that accounts for the complexity of your work; and most importantly, actually implementing your plan.
The tactile tools and approaches should complement your existing best practices. Rooted in Agile and Design Thinking methodologies, the tools are designed to facilitate a very dynamic, nimble, human-centred plan for advocacy that is revisited and iterated on often.
